We helped buy a Snowdog!

If you walked around Brighton and Hove in the autumn, you probably saw some of the 44 colourful Snowdog sculptures. Designed by a wide range of artists, they were sold by auction and raised more than £337,000 for Martlets Hospice.

Many are now in private homes and some are in oProcess Pup on seafront croppedffices. One was bought in memory of Niamh Storey-Davidson and now lives at Balfour Primary School.

Hanover community launched a crowdfunding bid for a Snowdog and raised £2,300, to keep at least one of these amazing artworks in the city and available for everyone to see. When we found out the money raised wouldn’t be enough, we decided to help.

Process Pup, designed by Josh Ford, was on the seafront from September to November.

She’s temporarily being fostered by Ruth Farnell, who set up the crowdfunding appeal, while a team of people – including Quick HR’s Brian Warren – find a permanent home for her.
